How my fitness journey almost ended…
You should always strive to lift more every week in the gym. That is the basis. You get almost this itch that tells you to push a bit more.
But sometimes we do these records with some cost, and that’s what’s happened to me.
I was supposed to hit my record on the bench—the famous 225, what a feeling.
I did a proper warm-up, and a few warm-up sets, and it was time for that record.
But then it hit. I didn’t control that weight in the slightest. Suddenly, it started to fall on my chest, and I couldn’t do anything at that moment.
Luckily, this random guy helped me pick the weight and said:” Nice weight, but next time, try it with a better form so you can lift for longer than a year.”
Without him, I could have injured myself so badly that I would have never lifted again.
Mastering proper technique has only one negative – your ego, at the start.
But not only have I not had to fear injury ever again, but my progress went through the roof! All muscles were activated as they were supposed to be, and joints were safe on top of that.
So what you’ll get in the Book of Technique:
